Payments & pet insurance
Bruton Vets warmly welcomes all the pets entrusted to our care. Being part of the Petcare group we work to guide pet owners on how to cover the cost of veterinary care.
To enable us to continue to give great service, we ask that appointments are paid for at the time of your visit. We accept cash payments and all major debit and credit cards.
Bruton Vets are always pleased to talk through the costs for your pet’s care and provide a detailed costing for any surgical treatment before it is booked. There may always be an additional cost for unforeseen circumstances, such as a longer anaesthetic period, or extra medication.
Your pet will require some routine veterinary care throughout their life, so Petcare clinics have looked into ways of helping to reduce and spread this cost. Joining Bruton Vets Pet Health Club is a way to help with this. For a small fixed monthly amount this will make routine veterinary care more affordable. Join the club and receive discounts on routine treatments (worming, flea treatment, vaccinations and a six monthly pet health check) and spread your payments throughout the year.
Every pet is eligible to join the lifetime club and membership, although it is possible to cancel at any time. There are also special benefits for puppies and kittens. The Pet Health Club is not a replacement for pet insurance and does not cover any medical veterinary treatment, however will give you a 10% discount on everything you spend at the surgery – including vet visits, treatments, food, shop items – a big saving!
Pet insurance
If your pet should ever fall ill, have an accident or require unexpected medical attention, pet insurance gives you financial peace of mind that your costs are covered. Petcare clinics advise that every pet owner has insurance for their pets. Our veterinary team is able to help you choose a policy to suit your pet and your needs. Puppies, kittens, cats and dogs under one year old all receive four weeks free pet insurance.
Ask us in practice or via our contact page for details about pet insurance.
